So I'm wondering, has ICQ become unsafe / tainted somehow or is it legit still? I could still log in through their website and all, but I don't want to compromise my PC over a software just for nostalgia. Windows still doesnt seem too keen on the software. I checked it with Avast and other software, but it came up clean, however I deleted the install exe and re-downloaded it (again, off the official website). However, on my newer PC (well, not new but I didn't have ICQ on it), when downloading ICQ off the website, Windows warned me about the software, which it usually doesnt.
I've got an ancient ICQ account, and I checked up on it a few years back.
