PvP isn't anywhere near the gankfest I was afraid it'd be, with the addition of more channels when they merged servers it's easy enough to find an empty grind spot. Boss armor is the exception, but it's so hard to enhance most people don't bother. Almost everything can be crafted as well. Crafting just about anything can make you silver, since you only pay peons in beer, which you craft yourself. I just got my first pegasus-ready horse, and I'm about to trick out my 1 combat character in all new gear with silver I made from my network of peons who gather for me. Things work differently in BDO, but as a dedicated lifeskiller who doesn't craft in any other game if she can help it, I have to say it's pretty addicting.
